This is Christ's church. There is a place for you here. As people of God, Ascension welcomes all regardless of age, economic status, ethnic background, gender, physical or mental ability, race or sexual orientation. Welcome to Ascension, we're glad you are here!
Who we are...
On Jan 15, 2022, Ascension celebrated its 70th anniversary as an organized congregation!
Everything Lutherans believe comes from the Bible, God's message of love and hope for all people.
The Bible is the written Word of God, handed down to us in order to point us to the truth that we are saved from our sin and eternal death by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The ELCA confesses the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In our preaching and teaching the ELCA trusts the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
In it we learn everything we need to know about God's love and His gifts to us.
